Maximising Ground-Based TEM Data with Workbench [Webinar 2026]
In this webinar, participants explored the import, processing, and inversion of ground-based Time-Domain Electromagnetics (TEM) data using Workbench.
The session began with a brief overview of TEM theory, followed by a live software demonstration covering data import, processing workflows, and inversion setup. Viewers learned how to apply processing filters, configure resistivity inversions, and use both laterally constrained inversion (LCI) and spatially constrained inversion (SCI) with confidence. Best practices for quality control and techniques to enhance subsurface interpretation were also shared.
The webinar featured a real-world dataset collected with the Tem2Go system over glacial sediments in Denmark. These clay-rich sediments contain discontinuous sandy units shaped by intense glaciotectonic deformation. Through resistivity analysis, viewers saw how TEM data can reveal complex, heterogeneous subsurface structures.
